Alas, a visit to a Moroccan medina isn’t in the cards for us this summer. Luckily, the souk has gone online at
Amal’s Room, a one-stop shopping destination for unique gifts with middle-eastern flair.
We were immediately drawn to the Hammam for eco-certified bath protects to cleanse and detoxify while adding much needed moisture to our sun-parched skin and hair. We loved the fresh olive oil and eucalyptus scent of the Beldi Soap ($35) which we lathered on using the Keess Exfoliating Glove ($12) to activate circulation and soften our skin, and the naturally non-comedogenic Organic Argan Oil ($48 per 1.7 oz), rich in Vitamin E and linoleic and oleic acids. But the shopping didn’t end there! With foodie finds like this spicy Harissa ($8) and Altru Home fragrance, our home felt like a Moroccan oasis.
